NgoFebhuwari 12, Italian media reported that Italian investment bank Banca Finint led the planning and that companies and institutions such as Luigi Rossi Luciani, Bruno Zago, Leonardo Del Vecchio and Invitalia would intervene through a local guarantee fund. They are working together to launch the Italian factory of Ideal Standard and the brand “UDolomite Ceramic”, which is currently in crisis.
The project is a re-industrialization project for Veneto Belluno, Uhlobo lwenhlanzi. The project has set the triple objective of preserving the factory headquarters and corporate governance in Veneto Belluno, maintaining the factory production, while maximizing employment (450 abantu) and providing security.
The action also intends to relaunch the brand “UDolomite Ceramic” on the market, aiming to become again the flag of Made in Italy and to develop a “new company that combines production activities with distinctive administrative and commercial activities, bringing additional benefits to the regional business structure.
