The faucet manufacturing process determines quality, cost and lead time for importers and wholesalers. VIGA is a faucet factory in Kaiping, China with in-house casting, machining, polishing, assembly and quality control, so we control every stage from raw brass to finished faucet.
Step 1: Casting
Molten brass alloy is poured into a mold to form the faucet body. VIGA uses gravity casting for solid brass bodies, which gives better density and corrosion resistance than low-grade materials.
Step 2: Machining
CNC lathes and milling machines cut the cast body to the required dimensions and thread size. This step gives the faucet accurate geometry, smooth sealing surfaces and consistent assembly dimensions.
Step 3: Polishing
The machined body is polished to remove casting marks and create a smooth surface. A good polished surface is required before chrome, brushed nickel or matte black finishing.
Step 4: Electroplating and Surface Finish
The faucet receives a chrome, brushed nickel, matte black or PVD finish. VIGA controls plating thickness and appearance to meet durability standards for export markets.
Step 5: Assembly and Inspection
Ceramic disc cartridges, aerators, hoses and handles are assembled, then every faucet is pressure tested. VIGA performs incoming material inspection, in-process checks and final inspection before packing.
Why the Manufacturing Process Matters for Importers
A factory that controls casting, machining and finishing can keep quality stable and react faster to custom orders. For private-label brands, this also means one supplier can handle the full production process instead of coordinating several workshops.
